ASTM A268 TP410 roestvrijstalen buis
De standaard martensitische roestvaste staalsoorten zijn: typen 410, 414, 416, 416 (Se), 420, 431, 440A, 440B en 440C, die magnetisch zijn; Deze staalsoorten ontlenen hun corrosieweerstand aan ‘chroom’, dat varieert van 11,5 tot 18 procent, en hoe hoger het chroomgehalte, hoe hoger het koolstofgehalte nodig is om ervoor te zorgen dat. Hoe hoger het chroomgehalte, hoe hoger het koolstofgehalte dat nodig is om zorgen voor martensietvorming tijdens de warmtebehandeling.
